nope. i didn't feel crap! lmao. i knew that the epidural would take the bigger pain away, so i WANTED it so badly. maybe that's why i didn't feel it. haha my husband almost passed out when he saw them take the needle out. lmao. he's fine for the labor and all that, but he freaks out for the needle coming out of my spine!haha

I would get an epi again!
I loved it! When it was given to me, I asked the nurse if I could dance around the hospital.
And then I said "Puhhhleaseee?" and two seconds later, I fell asleep.
That was a far cry from the pain I was in. I was screaming so loud that I had tourists (pregnant women taking a tour of the maternity ward) freaking out, not wanting to give birth, ha ha.
Really though, I didn't feel anything. I was in such pain that I didn't even notice what was happening. And if your SO is there while they are administering it, he can be a great distraction.
ETA- Before my epi I was in dire pain, crying, yelling, screaming. I seriously wanted someone to knock my head into a wall. I was 4 cm dilated.
Exactly one hour after the epi I was smiling, 10 cm dilated, and pushed my LO out 20 minutes later.
