Ear piercing... advice needed!

My daughter got her shots today and because she's soo active i want to get her ears pierced soon. Sooo... where did you take your LO's, what kind of earrings did you get for them, and how much? THANK YOU (:



edit: Lol. sorry i thought i was being clear. I want to get her ears pierced. And i want to do it soon because they say the younger they are the easier they heal. I know about claire's and piercing pagoda's and stuff. I was just wondering if people knew about any CHEAP places. $40 is a lot for something frivolous... especially considering that's just the earrings.

I got my daughters done at 4 months it was $40 at claires..shes really active and she doesnt even know theyre there she doesnt touch them or anything

i didnt have my LO's ears pierced, cuz hes a boy but i pierce people, and kids. I do it for 30 + earrings..... the one suggestion i have with the jewelry is to make sure it is Nickel free. it will say it right on the package if it doesnt.. do not trust it, and find other earings or if they cant prove they are nickel free go somewhere else.

OP, if you must do it, you should try to find a pro. body piercer to do it. They will do it with an autoclave sterilized needle and it will be a much cleaner piercing as well as likely healing better.

If you don't think you have any pro. body piercers near you that will pierce babies, then I will give you more advice, but I wanted to throw that out there first.

You can take her to Claires in the mall...n they have those piercing kiosks at the mall..n usually people just get lil studs..

Im lost but ok... I took my daughter to the mall. Claires actually. Some have those little stands in the middle that will do it. Claires and the icing does I know that. Umm you could probably do it at a piercing and tattoo place. I know some where I used to live did. Even some doctors will do them.

I dont recomend walmart though. I have had a few friends go there and they screwed up.

I'm a store manager for Claire's, and Wal-Mart is the bane of my fucking existence when it comes to piercings. I get tired of having to fix their screw ups.

I'm waiting till she asks for them.

WTF Walmart? Seriously? I just died a little inside. I cannot believe they pierce at Walmart.

Got hers done at a jewelry booth in the mall.... piercing was free but had to pay for the earrings, I chose some white gold studs about $25-$30.......

It's not terrible...but it's not the best either.

It is absolutely terrible to pierce cartilage with a gun. I wish MO would make it illegal so I didn't have to do it anymore.

I got my daughter's done when she was 8 months old. I went to a place in the mall. It cost like $60 but I got her diamond earrings lol. She cried once and that was it. It healed incredibly fast and we've never had an issue with them.
