Can you put a rear facing carseat in a pick up truck bc all it has is a "front" seat??

Does it matter if its the extended kind like for up to 2yrs or so?

If there is a backseat it needs to go there. Even with the airbags off in a truck it still isn't recommended unless you HAVE to.

If there is no back seat and the air bags are turned off then yes it may go in the front seat. For my daughter's infant seat untill we got her convertible (we did it twice because she was to small for the one we bought I did not bring her with me) had to ride in the front seat of our truck. Her infant seat did not fit on my back seat at all more then 20% was off the seat. It is safe and legal as long as the air bag is turned off. But the air bag can not be unpluged that is not legel unless you get approvel from nhsta.
