chilled cabbage leaves on your boobies help

and let 'em hang loose so they dribble the excess out

try benedryl or clariton. I had bad allergies and it made my supply lower when I took it.

My mom swears this worked for her and my grandma.
You go outside, squirt some milk on the ground, and it's supposed to dry up.

I promise she really said that to me

Far as the lump goes I think you cantake a warm shower and it should relieve some of the pain of engorgement.
Probably have to do the cabbage leaf thing. I have no idea what to do with it though.

Congrats on the twins!!!

Cabbage leaves help. Try not to hand express or take warm showers. That will stimulate milk production.

Nothing warm on them. Cabbage leaves didn't work for me and they stunk so bad I wanted to wear a nose plug all day/night. I just wrapped mine really good(DH did it for me) in ACE bandages. They were dried up in 5 days! You can also take some pain meds. I never thought about taking some meds that would lower your supply to dry them up, I would also try that.

warm showers help, it will help release the milk without stimulating more, and cabbage leaves(red works best apparently)

why not breastfeed though?

Ah, I didn't have the issue so I don't have first hand experience. My milk dried up on it's own, sadly.

I'm going by what my OB told my SIL to get her milk to dry up. She said anything warm will stimulate milk production.. such as hot water beating down on your breasts. :shrugs: I suppose it is different for everyone.

It could be that she can't breastfeed. I just had my baby last thursday and I really WANTED to breastfeed, but I can't because she just wouldn't take to it. I don't think the problem was the breastmilk itself, but that she didn't want to latch on.. the bottle seemed easier for her. So that could be her problem, dunno.

maybe too hard, with twins.

OP, I dont know what to say. But if you already had started bfing which i'm not sure if you have, i would gradually cut down, just like you would if you had been bfing all a long and they start eating solids, and little by little the supply goes down.

but if you have a lump, it is probably a clogged duct. ppl say dont express milk out but i probably would a little, if it was really hurting you. ouch.

It's not that hard. Feeding 2 babies is going to be more work no matter if FF or BF.
BF is easier IMO, once established.

can you imagine the cost of formula for 2 babies?   and the time spent sterilising and preparing bottles!
