actually it does have the recline thingy....where you pop it out and it can recline..

I bought a seat at Babies R US and the sales associate there couldn't answer my questions about the seat. Sales associates generally aren't familiar with the laws and how car seats work....

lol Yea, it's confusing that they make the straps adjust height THAT much, but yea. I guess they expect a 2 year old to be 20 pounds but 25 inches long? lol

Really? I didn't see it in the picture. A friend has that same car seat and it doesn't recline. Maybe it is a different model.

When Big Lots gets them in, they are generally convertible ones. Not just boosters. I worked there for over 3 years. So if they have one in stock. You should get one.

i think the easiest way to see is on the side, it'll have that little ball that goes in the green if it's properly installed or red if it's not. They usually don't have arm rests either i dont thnk. Mine came with a cup holder though.

Its actually illegal to sell used car seats. I think it is technically illegal to give them away as well.

It actually isnt...kinda sucky, but it isnt an actual law. At least not here.

It's not illegal (unless in MI) but you shouldn't use a car seat past a certain number of years. I had one that was 10 years old and WIC flipped their shit. But they were right and so I got Tobi his convertible. Unfortunately now we need to get a new one for this baby

My son got that car seat when he was 1 1/2...it reclines so they can nap. If you can afford to keep it I say just keep it bc i will eventually need it

Not in Georgia or Florida as well. All but two were used.
