Storing breast milk

How long is breast milk good for when kept in a regular freezer?

I've heard 5/6 months or 1 yr

It depends on where it's stored in your freezer. 

I was told a month... But that could be wrong?

6 to 12 months in the frezzer at -4 degrees F. i know this for sure
