is it fare?

I pay my mom 50 dollars a week to watch my son.And she only watches him tusedays thursdays and fridays for 1 hour a day.Well now my boss is making me work saturdays so she will have to watch him for 1 hour for that day and she is bitching about it.But just last week my bf took vacation time so she wouldnt have to watch him and now she still wants me to pay her for it even though she didnt watch him so im like w.e and im going to do it.But then now she is complaining that my dad didnt make as much as he should of so she needs even more money so everytime i get paid i can never save anything to move out cuz she takes it all.But yet she complains cuz we still live here.i mean am i the only one that thinks this isnt fare?I always help her out when she doesnt have money even though i barley have any.Plus we also buy are own food and we help buy there food plus we pay rent also

I think $50 for 4 hours a week is definitely fair! Isnt the going rate for babysitting go as low as $5 an hour?!?

IMO...people who dont have money and know someone who does (even if its not alot)....always want apieceof the pie

I dont think parents should get paid to watch there grand children..thats terrible.

thats what the people i work with say.Plus she said i can only work at a certain time of the day cuz i wanted to switch to nights and she said no and just like this week im giving her an extra 100 to buy food so im stuck we 40 dollars to buy everythign i need

nope i know someone who babysits for 3 dollars an hour!

I keep an infant for 40 plus a week and I get paid 350 a month. I think 50 for 4 hours is more than fair!!

its 4 hours for the week 1 hour per day and she is my mother.And now they are switching my boyfriends time so she will have to watch him 2 hours a day instead of 1 and she said she cant do it thats way to long.

She should be happy to be able to spend time with her grandchild. i know my mother would love to spend time with her, but we live 12 hours away. She keeps my brother's ( her granddaughter) for weekends and dont charge a thing.

i wish my mom thought of it that way.But she doesnt charge my sisterto watch her kids.Cuz she watched my nephew for a month without charging my sister she only charges me
