My Husband and I split up. We're getting a divorce. We're trying to agree outside of a court on child support and custody.
I start a new job on Monday, thus Ethan will be going to daycare. It's 500 a month. I asked my dead beat of a husband to pay $375 a month, and I'd cover the other $125.
I pay for EVERYTHING else. He would solely pay the 375 and nothing more. I just need help with daycare.
He's throwing a freaking fit.
His rent is $495 a month. His Dad offered to pay it for him until school began in January for the spring semester which he then will get Sgt's BAH for going to school fulltime. He got hired for a PT job at 12 an hour.... His only bills are electric which is about 50 a month, and food. I pay his cell and he's on my insurance still.
I think he's beinga total asshole and doesn't want to front the money for HIS child.

It may be easier in the long run to go ahead through the court, Mama. Though, I'm speaking from a bad experience I had trying to work things out with my ex outside of court and that was a bad, bad idea.

Let me add, that my job grosses 1760 a month, and I have about 1100 in bills, not including daycare.

I would take his ass to court and see how much they want him to pay, I bet it's a lot more than what you are asking, what a jerk!
