Gas or electric! What do you prefer?

I have heard over and over again that people seem to like cooking with Gas MUCH better than electric! Just curious what you ladies think?

gas all the way, I hate electric. It just doesn't cook right to me, but since I rent I don't have an option electric is here.

Gas... it cooks your food more evenly and faster than an electric one. I LOVE COOKING, so imo Gas is preferred

We live in a town home right now -- well own one. When the time comes and we buy a house I will be leaning towards gas, for sure.
