h1n1 spray vaccine reaction?

My 3 yr old had the spray vaccine on monday and has been getting progressively sicker since yesterday. her fever is now at 102. the doctors office keeps hanging up on us, apparently they havent figured out how to put people on hold yet.... anyone else? shehas been just laying in the floor saying to leave her alone for the past 3 hours.what are we supposed to do, wait or take her in> thanks, im a little panicked.

I would call again and tell them they keep hanging up on you. I would probably take my daughter somewhere if this was me (only because the highest my daughter has had in her almost 20 months is 99.4) if its a normal high temp for her I might wait and see how she does.

i just read that irritability ..not wanting to be touched or held and obvious increasing of sickness is a sign of swine.. i think u should take her in.

take her in those are all reactions to the vaccine....i would call on the way and let them know you are coming and that they keep hanging up on you

That sounds like the actual flu symptoms.   I'm sorry, mama. I would be persistent. I would not take that reaction lightly.

The Flu mist to my understanding has the live virus (slthough a weakened form) and can make your child sick with it. That is how my ped explained it to me and wouldnt give it to young children for that reason. I would take her in and have her checked. Hope she is well, if it is the H1N1 dont freak out. My whole family is recovering from it. The body aches were incredibly painful I will say and Motrin did nothing for the pain but all in all it was just a flu. Good Luck!

yeah I would take her in just to be safe. Poor baby   I hope she feels better soon.

Hope everything is alright. I just saw she hasn't logged on since that. I hope lo didn't get worse or anything....

Me too, I have been thinking about her since I saw her post because I struggled with whether or not to vaccinate for H1N1 and my lo's got sickwith it before it became available to us.All us mom's may not agree on what should be done but in the end we all just want to make the right choice for our babies and I hate to think her baby got sick from a vaccine that was meant to protect   Just a sucky situation   Hopefully she just got busy.

I have been thinking about her little girl constantly as well. I really hope shes okay.
