nope! im not even bothering with a bassinet but a good idea is to get a play pen with a removeable bassinet they arent much more then a reg play pen and i can keep it next to my bed and once she starts moving its a great way to keep her put if i need to go in another room for a min or use the bathroom plus it doubles as a nice portable bed for travel to grandmas house!

a swing, and a vibrating seat is really all you need for the first few months. My daughter didnt use her jumper till about 5-6 months then you can buy all the fun stuff like the bouncers and jumpers and excersaucers but they cant use any of these until they can support their heads.

We bought a wipes warmer and never used it. I found that if you just put the wipe in your hand and close your hand for a few seconds, it will knock the chill off. I did that everytime

thats def a good idea since your hand can go anywhere and a wipe warmer stays at home!

Quoting Kelly&Coralie:" I've never heard of a baby wipe warmer either! It's crazy what they come up with nowadays. Can anyone recommend a good brand of Cloth diapers so I can start researching prices soon? thanks!"

omg, I am on the great cloth nappy hunt, so far i have found it is best to get into a store so you can touch and see them first hand, then you can decide what type/style you would prefer. Then by a handful of different types so when bub comes you have enough and can work out which ones work for you. Dont stick to one type, each babie is different and what may work for one babie may not work for another!

Bummis Tots Bots have great reviews and most places have a return policy just in case you decide to go the disposable route instead

They have 12pk packages but buying single diapers isn't much more and you can pick your colors ... they last from 7-35lbs

I am going with BumGenis diapers from clothdiaper.com   I am super excited to try them because we have already spent 200 on disposal diapers to prepare for the baby! They even have a water spicket that goes on the toilet

Good luck !!

Thanks we were looking into clothe diapers ourselves our Mady Ann likes to get a fresh diaper on then within a few minutes soil it up too. Sometimes this process will use 4 diapers in less than 10 minutes.

This is definitely not a must have, but it's pretty cool! Babies R Us has a whirlpool infant bath tub...It's like a hot tub for your little one. My mother got one for me and my baby and I must say, it's the coolest looking thing ever! It has little jets that creates bubbles....Oh man, I'm excited to use it for the first time. lol But once again, not a must have...just a must look into! lol

i have, a billion cute outfits, which most are in bigger sizes, beacuse my mom told me that newborns are usually in onesies and sleepers  . a stroller, swing, bassinett, (i have a crib set up in his room, but i figure until hes a little older i would rather have him in with me, but i am NOT going to let him sleep in my bed with me, it scares me, plus my parents let my almost 8 year old brother sleep with them when he was a baby, and he STILL dosent stay in his room all night.)i have TWO car seats, (one for my parents, and one for me) since i am a single mother, i am so greatful to have my parents, beacuse they will be helping me out. a play pen, (again, one for me and one for them) i almost forgot about baby bath tub, but i bought one the other day, receiving blankets, socks, a dresser/changing table (its an old buffet that belonged to my great great grandpa, and has been kept in my family, and right now it isnt being used for ANYTHING. and its perfect for putting a changing table mattress on top, and has drawers, and two cabinets, so its perfect, and exactly matches his crib ) wipes, diapers, toys, comfort blankets, baby tennis shoes, they were so adorable, i just HAD to buy them lol, i also have a breast pump. and of coarse all the other necessities, such as bottles and bottle scrubber and such. wish me luck, beacuse i havent even had my baby shower yet! lol im due in June, and my baby shower isnt until next month LOL
