I recommend u use Baby Einstein dvd, it can help ur baby grow , and be more clever.
Baby Einsteinis a line of multimedia products and toys that specializes in interactive activities for children aged 3 months to 3 years old. Subjects such as classical music, art, and poetry are prominently explored. These products are currently made by a division of the Walt Disney Company, marketed under the slogan, "Where Discovery Begins".
see, a good gift

Go with Fuzzi Bunz or Thirsties. You can find em on amazon singly or in packs of 12.

Quoting skomula:“ do we absolutely have to have scratch mittens? Because I've been thinking about them non stop for like a week, and I remembered that I didn't put them on my registry...oops.”

The mittens totally slipped my mind until someone bought me some and I though Oh yeah great.. but i just read a couple of reviews and labels from doctors saying they can be great for overnight to sleep to keep the baby from scratching or hurting themselves but no to all the time because it defeats their sensory that they progress by touching and feeling!!! Just sharing my finds. Good luck

those mittens just fall off my baby's hands as soon as we put them on.

the hospital recommended using little socks, saying they hold better.

speaking of which i totally recommend finding a very fine emery board to file baby's nails down. clipping is scary! filing them is much easier for me.

i haven't but i've seen them! they look like a very good idea....so long as your baby likes to suck on it & its not a bad shape or size for him/her. i got an ear thermometer to use but ended up getting regular one for rectal use. i was hoping to avoid anything going in her butt but i ended up needing it to help her constipation.

lol, that's the reason why I was thinking it might be a good idea..not so comfortable with the ideaof using a rectal one, but if it comes down to that I'll just have to for baby's sake!

We will be using bumgenius cloth and the gdiapers hybrids for things like travel and sitters so they don't have to worry about the messy ones! Gdiapers also have cloth inserts available. They each run between $15-18, the bumgenius one size diapers are the ones we went with to last from 8lbs-30 lbs so we don't have to buy them again. Good luck!!

i woud say on clothes vests are a must have. during summer a baby can just have that on and a diaper. i think i will buy the vibrating chair. ohhh and a playing pan is great, you can put the baby in there with toys and he/she wont go nowhere esp when they are crawling.

a baby 1st aid kit. something to take the babys temp wiht, baby meds for fever, cough, cold, gas, rashes. baby ibuprofen can bake a fever and save a babys life before you can get the child to the hospital. trust me. My son got lucky. Its amazing how quick a babys temp can go up.
