well. im now 23 weeks 5 days and i didnt find out what i was having until i was 19 weeks 5 days. i had waited until i found out was i having to buy anything but when i did . i bought clothes 0-3 months 3-6 months and 6-9months so i know im set on clothes.i didnt buy a whole lot thought just enough to get her through because i know alot of people go out there and spend alo tof money on all kinds of baby clothes and half they dont even wear . but then i bought bouncer -car seat stroller travel system- swing - bassinet - head holder - baby book - bottles - socks etc. so i would only buy the most important stuff first. this is my first child and i know im trying to play it some what smart and not buy over the amount.

It really just all depends on your baby. People say that Pampers are the best and stuff, but my mom couldn't use pampers with me, I was allergic to them. So I suggest just getting what you can on sale, and whatever works, use it.

We started out using all the name brands when we first had my son. Everyone gave us a small pack so we quickly went through them. Which was good because I didnt like any of them. (They all leaked) I was about ready to go to cloth diapers when I decided to try the White Cloud brand at Walmart. I figured they would work till I could get the diaper service started since all the other brands leaked on me....I figured the store brand couldn't be worse...I was wrong...They were the BEST for my son. No leaks...and they were cheap.

Quoting beautifullyhaunted:“ baby wipes warmer!”

I have one of the baby wipe warmers (not for my own child obviously since im due next month) but from baby sitting my neice. I have realized that using the warmer makes the wipes not as strong. They tear really easy. I am not sure if it is the type of wipes or what. My sister in-law just gave me her warmer for my baby.
Have you had the same problem? If not, then what brand of wipes do you use that dont tear when they are warm and try to take them out?

seriously the "equate" brand from walmart works great!!! the wipes are super strong so maybe if u got those they would be good for the warmer... they are cheap too like 1.67

i would say either a swing or a bouncy seat that vibrates, especially for a newborn. Also, nursing pads. Even if you don't breast feed, you will leak the milk out until it's dried up.
