Quoting Owen's Mommy!:“ Where do you live? In the south they have more plus size stores than ever, but if you live in the north then they are very cruel towards plus size women.”I live in SW Ohio. I buy a lot of clothes online. I have a hard time finding reasonably priced, plus sized maternity clothes. I want to get one of those cute sayings t-shirts this time around, but none of them are in a larger plus-size and the few I have found in XL or 1X cost $30 or more (for a single cotton T-shirt)! Get real!

Quoting Owen's Mommy!:“ Ya well pregnancy clothes are VERY expensive!!! I bought one pair of pregnancy jeans and the cheapest ... [snip!] ... are going up like crazy!! The cost of shoes are supposed to go up by 30% in the next 2 years!! So buy all the shoes now! Lol.”

Quoting Ashley (11w5dtilbabyben):“ Where in the WORLD are you guys shopping??? I found a lot of great stuff at Burlington Coat Factory ... [snip!] ... shops in the maternity section at all... I worked there for 6 mos., and only saw about 3 girls in there that entire time lol.”i just recently discovered burlington coat factory and never knew they had such bargains. And i was happy to learn about baby depot. the prices are great. I would not have considered it bc i thought they just sold coats or seasonal items, but a coworker of mine was telling me about it bc she used to work there.
Quoting Mrs.Cowan:“ I wish i could say im as prepared as these other women but i have nothing yet. I'm 25 weeks pregnant ... [snip!] ... of stuff for her so i suppose I'm waiting to see what they've ourchased and i'll build from there. . . . am i waiting too long?”at first i felt guilty for not buying anything, cept a onesie i liked for him to wear with his dad. just save your money for stuff you REALLY need and can spend your last month checking off your list. All I had to buy was a bassinet mattress and sheets for it. Everything else was given to us. i bought a photo album, a digital camera. If you are going to breastfeed, talk about it so people can buy you stuff for that too. by the time we had the second baby shower(my fam and husband's fam) we were set. My husband also took an opportunity to have a diaper party with his boys. and i know i will probably still have to buy a breastfeeding pump. i am going to rent one from the hospital for $45 and see how i like it first.
