soilds and the flu help

my son had a hard time keeping anything down, till he got some meds from the er. well should i just keep it with breast milk, or would it be okay to give him some soilds? i was thinking some not to hashs like apples or green beans?

I'd probably stick with just breast milk and maybe some pedialyte to keep him hydrated.
