I really enjoy doing skewers of fruit, soft cheeses like bocconcini , veggies and proscuito (not all on the same skewer). They look really impressive, are easy for guests to pick up and eat with their fingers and are super simple.

A cheese ball! Everyone will love it. Serve with crackers!

1 softened cream cheese
1 jar Old English Cheese Spread
1 pkg. Budding Sliced Ham
1 samll pkg nuts

Mixthe cream cheese, OLD English cheese, and ham....once evenly mixed combine into a ball shape and put the nuts on the outside. Its very easy and very delicious!

I know we were planning on having fruit & veggies... But I want to have something that's kind of like a "main" thing. A friend of mine had bbq, crackers, cheese, & meats... Then cupcakes & 2 huge cakes lol. I don't think we're going to need 2 huge cakes though!

I didn't even think of doing a cheese ball or anything else suggested! The skewers of fruit/cheese & everything else sounds really good. I'm going to bring up everything suggested so far with my mom & then if anyone else has suggestions post please

You could also do mini quiches. Either pre-made ones that you heat up or get the tart shells pre-made and make your own filling.
