I have been reviewing 568 MRI and CAT scan images the last 2 days - taken of a woman who was bashed in her head by her husband - striking her head on a brick wall.
I have seen the damage this jerk has done to this beautiful woman, and her longtitudinal damages she is now living with - my feathers get in a ruffle very quickly when Women and abuse is the topic - I see and have seen the damage women endure from their abusive spouses - yet woman choose to go back to the abuser - perplexing me daily - and then I see young woman encouraging women who are in abusive cases to stay and wait for a "worse incident" than she is already enduring - and I cannot fathom the ignorance and lack of rational I have seen here today.

Anyway, November is Domestic Violence Month, and all of us Women should be encouraging women to step AWAY from abusive situations for their safety as well as their childrens'. No Man has the right to abuse his spouse - and that behavior is strictly a deal breaker for me. (Clearly this OP is being abused, emotionally, sexually, financially, and psychologically - and she needs to get AWAY.
