Medicaid?

Do pregnant women automatically get it? My DH was laid off in October and our insurance expires Monday. He is going to be getting unemployment though. His old job offered us cobra and told us one price but it ended up being way more than that.

We were in the EXACT same position, and I was covered under BadgerCare. Apply ASAP!

It isntautomaticallygiven to pregnant women. At least not here. But you should be able to qualify if he lost his job.

I hear you about cobra. We are paying 630 a month for just Kailee and myself.

We applied and got it! My whole family is covered. Hubby has been laid off almost a year now!  

Well I know you have to apply but I was wondering, AFTER you applied, did you automatically get it for being pregnant and uninsured?

U gotta apply and hope u qualify. If ur unemployed and not married then u shouldnt have a problem.

That takes a weight off my shoulder! Thank u! I got the application today and have to go there for a pregnancy test in the morning Monday.

Yes. But I think there are income limits. You should be fine though

This might sound really strange. But see if Aflac is hiring in your area. It is commision based only and you do have to pay to get licensed. But if can, it has a really good program. My husband takes his licensing test on Monday, and if he passes. He starts work that week.

He has tried applying for desk jobs and what not but because all of his schooling and background is in construction no one will hire him. He is even having trouble with mills.   Thanks though!

You dont need any experience what so ever, it is worth a shot.
