Make scented gels & put them in them.
Put screws or thumb tacks in them.
Save box tops for educationin them
If you have a garden, put your seeds in them. Then they are always organized.

My MIL is an art teacher and has asked that I keep all mine for her. :-)

The bigger jars are great for putting jellies and jams into - if you are into that - love putting cranberry sauce (real berries cooked) into, and serve on table in those glasses - festive and cute.
