:( Freaking out gestational diabetes 35 weeks

  OK I'm freaking out cause my glucose tolerance test came back positive   tomorrow I'm doing the three-hour glucose tolerance test to see if I really do have gestational diabetes,!!!The doctor said that it could have been a false positive, tomorrow I'll know for sure. My values were 145   Anyones here had the same problem??

145 for what ur blood suager or what? Im diabetic period

Lots of women fail the 1 hour and still pass the 3 hour. As far as having gestational diabetes its not all that bad.

I was diagnosed with GD with my last pregnancy! I had to change my eating habits and check my blood sugar 4 times a day until I gave birth! It wasnt that bad and didnt cause me or my son any complications!

145 isnt to bad if thats what it was i run up to 180 sometimes and they dont see a need to up my dose of insulin inless im over 200

that's what my doctor told me, I'm really hoping for that!

that isnt bad i can run higher with stupid crap even after taking my insulin i was sopped to be on a diet but if i fallow that i wont gain any weight i was accually losing and now i stay about the same and havent changed anything

really? I guess I'm scared cause this is my first pregnancy

Okay so I couldn't do the test   I threw up 30 minutes after having that "wonderful" drink....I'll have to try again on monday

that suxz....what makes them think u can do it again?

I know that's what I thought!! But went there again this morning, and this time I decided to stay at the hospital instead of driving back home and I was able to hold it inside my stomach !!  I'm happy because at least tomorrow I'll get to know if I have GD or not...I hope I don't have it though , it kind of scares me
