was this my plug??

i thought i had to use the bathroom so i went. and i bunch of brown goo stuff came out when i wiped. and i mean alot. im not sure if thats my plug or not. im 35 wks. and already dilated 1 cm.

probably... just had some old blood mixed in with it.

ive been hurting today. how long after that comes out does it take to go into labor?

the doctor told me that you can lose your plug and not go into labor for a couple of weeks or you could go within 24 hours. it all depends on the person. just keep an eye and things and let your doctor know if you have any concerns. since your plug did fall out, just keep an eye out for your water breaking and things like that. as long as your water hasn't broken, you're ok. hope this helps!

I've been losing mine since I was about 36 weeks and I'm due wednesday. It could still be a little bit. Losing your plus just means your cervix is softening and starting to make some progress toward labor. Now when you start getting a bloody show of like pink/red blood, call the OB or go to L&D b/c I was told that meanslabor isn't far off. But thats just what I was told.

I have been losing my mucus plug since Thursday but the doctor told me that was normal. I'm due on Sunday so I'm just hoping that everything goes ok and that my little girl will be here soon.
