At 35 weeks....

posted 6th Nov
I had my 35th week doctors appointment yesterday and had a u/s. Jude is measuring 4.5Ibs, via u/s. I know they can be off, but doesn't that seem kind of small for a 35 weeker? I thought they were usually 5-6Ibs by now.

My doctor didn't seem worried though.

My last LO was born at 35 weeks and 2 days and weighed 6lbs 1oz. But, if your dr isn't worried...you shouldn't be either!

You should ask. You don't want anything to be wrong, so call them and make them worried.

Well, my daughter was born at 39.5 weeks weighing in at 7Ibs even. Maybe he will start throwing the pounds on in the last few weeks.

Neither the tech or the doctor seemed conserned. My doctor actually said "perfect" after the tech said his measurments. So I don't think anything is wrong. I am measuring right on target and my fluid levels look great. I just though it was odd for him to seem so small. Maybe he is just going to be smaller than my daughter was?!
