Quoting Julian's Wife: I feel for you. I went into L&D yesterday. I've been having contractions since about 11:30 at night ... [snip!] ... changed though, so here I am at home waiting for them to go away or turn into something. I hope something happensfor you soon.Me too. I'm just soo frustrated. They told me yesterday after 36 weeks they won't stop them, and I am 37 today, so considered full term. (Plus, I think I'm further along than they do.) It's so irritating being this uncomfortable and knowing that technically it could last another 3 weeks! I wouldn't mind if she stayed in there, if this contraction every 5-7 minutes thing would stop! My muscles are exhausted. I hope something happens for you too! What are you on for the contractions?
Quoting MandyN *Team Pink*: Me too. I'm just soo frustrated. They told me yesterday after 36 weeks they won't stop them, and I am ... [snip!] ... minutes thing would stop! My muscles are exhausted. I hope something happens for you too! What are you on for the contractions?Yeah it's definitely frustrating. Mine were actually 2 minutes apart with smaller contractions right in between the two minute ones. I didn't even know that happened. They told me if I was any further along in my pregnancy, they would have given me something to help move me along. Until then though, I just have to wait until they are much more painful. Yay! I'm on Nifedipine. It's the same thing as Procardia. After today, I'm only on it for 2 more days though.
Quoting MandyN *Team Pink*: I was on Terbutaline. I HATED how it made it feel though. They didn't offer me anything to move it along or anything, I wish they had. I want her out! She is officially evicted.

She is officially evicted.Aw. I didn't really have any problems with the Nifedipine. I think the Terbutaline is much stronger though. I'm not really sure when exactly they would have offered something to help me along. I wouldn't have taken anything at this point, but it was disappointing to hear that they would have if I was later. It's like why can't I just be further along and having this happen instead of now? Grr.
Quoting the Brinker babymaker: terbutaline is good stuff it takes a few days to get use to it thoughI had to take it a lot, and it REALLY raised my heartrate. It raised mine to 126, and baby's was 180! Luckily, I don't have to take it anymore.

I'm just soo uncomfortable. The itching is the absolute worst though.
Quoting the Brinker babymaker: I've been on it for 2 months max dose every 4 hours, it sucked at first but my body got use to it.It was worth it to keep her in there. She tried to come out at 26 weeks!

Quoting the Brinker babymaker: yeah mine did too at 20 weeks, no fun!Ugh, these babies! Now she'll prolly come late. She really is a booger.
