What would you do?

My son will be 4 in December....he's always whining sayin He wants his grandma.....it seems like it never ends....I feel unloved by him because he always wants her...I cant stand it and dont know what to do or say....hes cryin right now sayin he wants his grandma, he was up to her house for this past week cuz everytime we went to get him he was sleeping....idk anymore....

Prolly b/c he gets away with alot more at grandmas then at your house.

Maybe it is just a stage he is going through? Maybe he gets more one on one attention there and he likes it? idk. He was there for a week? Maybe he wants her all the time because he is there all the time.

Hes not there all the time...he hadnt seen her for like a week so we let him go up and probably stayed like 3 days....when i want him home she says she will bring him down but never does....id go get him but if my husband isnt home i have no way of getting him....I know she lets him get away with alot up there but he never gets to play with any kids up there but when hes with us he gets to play with all of our friends kids....idk im not gonna let him go up for a while...

Hmm.. maybe he just loves him grandma! hehe. So cute. I wouldn't keep him from going there though. He obviously loves it and it would be mean to keep him from his grandma just because he asks for her all the time. Are you mad or jealous that he wants her?

Im not gonna keep him from her completely just a couple of days...if she wants to come down and see him she can but everytime he goes up there he wants to stay the night....Im not jealous...im just alil sad that he doesnt like stayin with me...i miss my baby boy, he used to love me the way he loves her...idk maybe its a stage...i also feel like im neglecting him when im always takin care of my lil girl...idk

it probably is just a stage.. Hes still loves his mommy the best lol. He just loves grandma too. Maybe it is best to have your mom go down there instead of you bringing him up there and if you do go up there dont leave him there make him come back home.

Yea i hope its a stage lol...its not my mom...my mom lives like 30 min away...MIL lives across the road which doesnt make things too much better lol...o well just needs to stay home for alil bit...

when my son was little, he would do (almost) the same thing, and it would hurt me.....hed rather lay down/sit on the couch next to my mom more than me or would rather go to her for something than me....it seemed to be something he needed/wanted at the time (attention from someone other than my husband and i) and just loving his grandma...i kno she wasnt letting him getting away with things he wouldnt at our home, or anything like that so those were the only two reasons i could come up with to explain the behavior. on the other hand, my in-laws let my kids get away with a lot (back-talking and such) because they dont really believe in using the word No (weve had many discussions about That) and he, at times, would ask to go there if he felt we were being hard on him for a few days in a row, but hes learning at a young age that boundaries are a good thing....i think ur instincts are right on, keep him at home for a few days but let her visit at ur home next weekend maybe?
