Your Weight gain with 2+ children...*poll*

posted 5th Nov
Just wanted to see if what I'm going through is common.
I gained about 70 lbswhile I was pregnant with Holly. I didn't have gestational diabetes or anything, just ate a ton. I went from 135-205 lbs.
When I got pregnant (this time) I weighed 165 lbs. I'm about 6.5 months pregnant and I've only gained 5 lbs. By thistime in my last pregnancy, I had gained well over 30 lbs...
I'm not unhealthy in any way, except for that maybe I eat way too much. I literally can not gain weight for my life. I probably eat about 2500 calories or more a day. (Not that I'm unhappy about that, haha!). My midwife (and prior OB) told me that as long as I'm eating fine, it's ok, so I'm not worried...

Just curious if it's like this with other women at all...

I was 130 when I got pregnant with Kailee. I went into labor at around 157ish pounds. I never lost it. Well, I take that back, I did lose it all and then it came back Thanks to my thyroid issues.

I am 31 weeks with this pregnancy and started at 158, I am steady around 168-170.

pregnancy 1 i gained 60 pds
pregnancy 2 i gained 20 pds and actully lost 2 pds before labor so 18

for me the first pregnancy was the worst i had lost 15 pds the first 4.5 mths and then gained all 60 in the last mths b/c i thought my baby wasnt gettin enough to eat b/c i had morning sickness for 4.5 mths and couldnt keep anything 2nd pregnancy i started heavy at 180 b/c i got preggo when daughter was only 5 mths and didnt lose any baby weight so i guess the heavier i was the less i gained and i didnt eat asmuch junk food the 2nd time around. also it is so much easier to lose weight the 2nd time too. im down to 140 i was 118 before both preganacies so i have a ways to go still.
