re: 5cm and no labor?!

holy cow! my doc wouldn't strip my membranes because he's really
concerned about me making it to a test for one of my classes on monday. He's like a concerned family member more than a doctor sometimes!! He even gives me hugs when he greets me

Haha... my OB always gave me and my DH a hug at each visit. The only reason my OB even offered to strip my membranes is because I needed to be induced early, but because I was half way there already, I asked if there was anything else we could do, so she finally agreed to try it, but if I hadn't gone into labor by 38 weeks she told me she would have to induce me. So I ended up being induced.

i've been 5 cm since last sunday and still nothing. this is my 3rd child and it is driving me crazy waiting.
