I like it but one of my best friends is naming her baby Anya and I've just been hearing it a lot. Its gonna be a very popular name.

My BIL is named Jan-Michael Drake.. He doesn't have a middle name (drake is our last name) ... but even if he did have a middle name I wouldn't think that was overkill

Have you considered dropping the 'y' in Elyse and spelling it Elise, the traditional way?

elise isnt the "traditional" way. my middle name is elyse, and i have seen it both ways.

oh yeah i dont know anybody naming their babies that around here, except for aniya, but its pronounced different and everything. i love the name anya

oh yeah her middle name is renee. and yeah the hyphen is alot, but i think my little girl would be able to rock it   lol
