Quoting Carson's my world:“ Whats the best things you have tried for them? I've got some Medela Lanolin that i'm using and i'm also using a nipple shield. Quoting minxmango:“ Just wait it out. I had severely cracked and bleeding nipples for the first 6 weeks. I don't think ... [snip!] ... they completely healed until 8 or 9 weeks pp. See a lactation specialist to correct positioning/latch so they don't get worse.”
Quoting Carson's my world:“ I'm only 1wk pp so i'm hoping it will get better. Yeah my dr was talking aboutsending a lactaion specialist to my house..I think i'm going to do that. I think it will help.”definitely take advantage of it! i waited too long and now my nips are scarred from how bad the cracks were, and i got mastitis from it too. just the smallest change in positioning made a world of difference! good luck!

So i think i'm going to get a lactation specialist to come to my house asap and see if they can help.”Try the cross clutch or whatever it's called. I found that one easiest. Also make sure when he's latched that you're holding the back of his neck and not the back of his head. You schould be supporting his neck. And his head should be poiting slightly upward, so you two can look eachother in the eye, instead of his eyes being directed toward your boob.
