Think about someone you really dislike, or maybe even hate. Think about all the shitty things they may have said or done to you. Let it consume you.

Now, if this person or persons came to you asking for help, whether it be for food, money, or just advice, would you offer genuine support or would you tell them to get lost? Be honest with yourself.

Personally, I'd tell them to get lost. But I can't help but feel guilty for admitting that, because if I can't honestly forgive someone and forget our differences, how can I expect the same out of anyone else?

It would depend on what they are asking of me but I would most likely help them.

My husband & I actually have helped someone we greatly dislike.

I thought of one of my cousins, who i HATE with a passion! I would tell him to fo fuck himself  

I only help out those who have never done me wrong, or those that I can trust. I would probably just think the perso was trying to use me.

I couldn't do it. Like with my mom. She gave birth to me and all, but she has taken advantage of EVERYONE in my family. I cant help her anymore.

Same with anyone else.

You have to really soul search, but she was in a very hard postion medically & still is in recovery.
We had a fundraiser to help aid in her care b/c she was unable to make decisions & her mother didn't have power of attorney of her funds.
We raised quite a bit of money & donated it in her name w/ her mother having capabilty to withdrawl & help care for her.

probably help, I'm to nice and I dont hold grudges for long.
