how would you feel....

If you found out after being with someone for 2 and half years that they have lied this entire time about their age? and only by a year?

I think I would feel betrayed. If they can lie about something so small and stupid, what else could they be lying about?

I would wonder what else they are lying about.

That is really weird   I would feel betrayed, pretty upset, a bit suspicious. I honestly don't know how I'd react.

Oh wow. I'd be pissed. Not so much about the age but that they kept the lie going for that long.

lol that happened to me my hubby would say he was 18 when i 1st met him and he was really 16 and i was 17 and we ended up prego with our son lol gosh i wanted to kill him but now we look back and laugh about it

exactly why?! thing is he lied and said he was younger! this whole time i thought he was a year and half older than me and he is really two and half years older than me. I saw it on his id awhile ago and he said na at the DMV where he lives its really ghetto and they dont make you show proof so when he was 20 he told them he was a year older to get it on his id so he could in the clubs when really that was his real date of birth. his mom brought over his baby book since we just had our son and i was like hmm how come she wrote all over the book 85. besides in jan it will be his 25 birthday and he doesnt even care? everyone i know he has lied to and one friend that he has grown up with said something one time about him being as old as he was and he was like nuh uh man. i thought they were jsut messing.

Yeah it's not even like he just lied about the age and you never questioned it again. He went out of his way to keep the lie going and cover it up. I'd be pissed.

exactly and if i could make a list of things he has lied about its insane..here are some of them
when i first met him he told me he had...
2 apts, 2 phones, a car, said he never had a job in his life, said he had been wit 531 girls.
i went to both his apts...turns out one was his uncles..he said at the time his uncle wasnt living there so he was paying for it so technically it was his (could still be a lie), one of the phones was his moms, the car was his moms, he had worked at radioshack and applebees before, he has been with around 20 girls.

around 7 months after we were dating he would say he was coming over then wouldnt, i would try to call and not be able to get a hold of him til the next day or he would show up at 4 in morning. he made up some crazy excuses that i dont even want to admit i believed but all in all i found out he was at clubs and parties. thing is I used to go to clubs and parties all the time and didnt give a shit if he did...so why lie? im a pretty laid back gf i think.

a year after we date he left his myspace up. i found where he was talking to a girl he used to have sex wit. She asked him about his status being in a relationship and he said na he just doesnt want to get hit on by myspace girls. I confronted him told him i know i shouldnt have snooped but really? he got made and then felt bad said he was sorry dunno how he could do that to me and he wouldnt never do anything like that again.

while i was pregnant i caught him several other lies but one that ties back to the above lie......in august a week before my bday he left his myspace up.....and he had written around 10 girls. tellin them they looked good in their pics, and some he got their numbers. he knew most these girls and one he had met at a club while i was preggo and he had gone out. he is that myspace creeper that just writes you out of no where saying saw your new pics you look good how are u? or i havent seen you out anywhere where you be going out and then tell them where he goes out at. Some of these dated back to before i was even preggo.

I honestly did not know that he was that kind of guy. Before I got preggo he acted like i was all he ever needed. Always telling me how good i looked and we would have sex all the time. But really he was writing all these girls. I can only put with some many lies and I am still baffled as to how I have had a kid with someone that i feel like i dont know at all. I told him today...that i ask him everytime he lies is there anything else i need to know might was well get it out now and he says no. How many more lies are there gonna be!? and he wont tell me why he lied. he is being a dick to me when i confront him about it. I said im not mad (cuz im pretty used to it by now) but why? always told myself i would never be that dumb girl that talks about her stupid lying bf and here i am. wow that was longer than i meant it to be lol vent i guess.

all i can say is wow. and you can do so much better. thank god youre not married, this will be a lot easier to leave.
