Is it normal?

posted 5th Nov
I didnt notice this now until I read something. But is it normal if my 4 day old daughter was having 5-6 yellow bowel movements yesterday? I mean today she hasent had a BM yet and its starting to make me worried.

She is bottle fed too.

Does her formula have iron in it? That can cause constipation.
I noticed a decrease in my babies poop when they got on enfamil lipil with iron but it wasnt bad enough to change their formula.

I think she'll be ok...my girls sometimes go 2-3 days without pooping..

Im on similac advanced it has iron in it... it just makes me worry because she had 5-6 BMs to nothing. Is it normal for a 4 day old to have that many frequent BM's

When I was breastfeeding she had Yellow poo and had 5-10 BM's (that was in the begging when she was 0-4 weeks) . But then when I switched to formula she only poo's 1-3 times a day & her poo is a green color from the iron.

yea my son too, so we put him on the similac sensitive but it hasnt got better and he doesnt spit up he like forcefully vomits, they tried to tell me its just acid reflux but i think its more then that, they have this other similac sensitive r.s and its for less frequent spit up so im gunna try that and if that doesnt work then im putting him on lactose free..how has she been with the lactose free?

Well I actually put her on Simulac R.s. since its lactose free and its for frequent spit up and its working wonders although she is having problems with constipation and that has to do with switching.
