Coming home outfit?

posted 5th Nov
SO and I keep getting into a debate about our little girls coming home outfit. We live seriously like 2 mins from the hospital. He says we can just put her in a onesie and bring her home all wrapped up because it will be the end of November and be cold. I told him I want something cute because it will be the one outfit I will keep of hers. We have still yet to pick one out and Im thinking about just ordering one online without his approval because he obviously doesnt care lol. If you want...show me what you brought your little one home in and what would be a good website to look up baby clothes? Im running outta time haha.

This is what we brought Amelie home in:

It was so soft and comfy, I think it's silly to put newborns in uncomfortable clothes.

If it means that much to you then I would pick something cute out that's weather appropriate. With my son I let my fiance pick it out and my poor kid wore an outfit that didn't even begin to match. But daddy was happy so that's all that mattered to me

i think its just mean to put newbies in fancy frilly uncomfortalbe stuff.

1. it needs to be warm
2. it needs to be comfortable
3.then look cute.

I had a super cute dress for my May baby but instead just put her in a footed sleeper which she then destroyed later that day with a massive poop explosion,

For some reason I always thought that a baby should come home in ALL white... (not sure where i heard it) So When I was pregnant with my 1st i looked EVERYWHERE for an all white outfit that could be for a boy or girl. ( I was having a girl, but i want all my kids to come home in the same outfit.. Im weird.) but I finally found one. So both my daughter have been brought home in it, and so has my niece.

(I know her arm is all funny... lol.. She broke her clavicle during delivery and had to keep it down at her side... she couldn't even have it through her sleeve)

lol. My SO was the same. I brought my daughter a nice outfit anyway. Even tho she was wrapped up to get to the car, and wrapped up to get out, and pretty much changed into a onsie as soon as she got home.... I'm still glad i dressed her up... i got photos, and i've kept the outfit.... i'll find a photo..

We got ours from Babies R Us. You could check out there or also Carters. Oh and I live less than 1 minute from the hospital, and we're still putting him in something other than a onesie. Though, it's just a long sleeve comfy outfit.

Aw thats a neat idea and its nice that they all came home in the same thing. I really like that idea, though, I only plan on this one child....at least for a longgggg time haha
