BH feeling crampy...

posted 5th Nov
Okay so my BH have gotten much worse... now they actually feel like cramping down in the lower half of my stomach. They feel like they're breaking my ribs, and cramping my lower stomach. The cramping keeps getting worse by the day too... maybe it means they're getting stronger or something?!

Labor contractions are a sudden onset, right? They wouldn't come on gradually from BH...

Stupid labor is so confusing...

Thanks for any input...

See that's what I'm wondering... I'm wondering if these will just keep progressing. I can definitely tell they've gotten a TON worse in the last few days, but they're not completely unbearable or anything yet.

No... I'm at work lol they're all the time, but not always equal amounts of time apart I don't think. I'm not sure... I had a NST yesterday at my appt, and they were every 5 minutes, give or take. I was on the monitor for like 25 min at most and I had at least 4... but he didn't seem concerned.

I'll try to pay attention to how close they are...

Well since you are getting close to your due date, I would keep an eye on them. Try drinking lots of water! Good luck mama!

I personally wouldnt stress until you cannot tolerate the pain anymore...that's my plan for this baby cause I hate going in just to be sent home

Keep up the water intake and start keeping track of them mama. The difference between false labor and the real thing isnt obvious for every mama. For some they cant even tell the difference. Good luck!!

Its best to time them even if they dont seem unbearable. Some moms dont know their own pain tolerance level and are surprised to find out their already deep into active labor by the time they get to the hospital. My good friend didnt even have enough time for her epidural with her baby because she waited so long to go in, thinking it was nothing, and by the time she got there they had just enough time to get her into the room and set up before she needed to start pushing.

My problem is if they're unbearable and I have to go in, I have to call 911 because I don't have anyone to drive me. My mom is coming into town on Sunday... so I'm hoping I hold off until at least then. I figure if I actually go into labor before she gets here, it's an automatic ambulance ride...

I'm scheduled to be induced next Thursday... he should just wait until then I think...

Yeah... I'm worried I'll wait too long and miss my chance for an epi... that would be REALLY frustrating.

I usually have high pain tolerance, but I know labor is always so much different than anything else I could have experienced... so we'll just have to wait and see.

I hope he waits until my mom gets here... I'm not sure I want to go through labor alone

Okay... I think these contractions are getting worse...

I don't want to leave work and have it be nothing... I don't know what to do. I've been timing them, and it's kind of scaring me because they're less than 10 min apart. They also definitely come whether I've been sitting or standing or walking... and I've drank a crap load of water and it's not helping.

I feel like the pain should be worse. I mean they hurt pretty bad and I am kind of breathless during them, but I feel like they should be crippling to actually be labor pain... you know? I know I have a high pain tolerance, but I feel like I'm kidding myself if I think labor pains are this easy.
