visitation?

when you go to court for child support, do they order him visitation? or is that a whole other kind of court... because we go to court on mondey for child support, and i didnt know if they dealt with that or not.

In most states support and visitation are two seperate issues.

i know here he would have to apply for visitation and it would be a whole other court case..

I know in my hometown in PA if the parent doesn't get to see the child he or she doesn't have to pay child support.

When I went to court at first with my daughter & ex, they did custody/visitation and child support all in that one day

When we went for our hearing, they asked us if we could come to an agreement on our own...we said we could. If we wouldn't have been able to/said no, we would have had to go to court for it.

I just went the other day and nothing was said about visitaion

They are going to set him up for child support and then either he has to file for visitation or they will set it up in the court(in Arizona), you go to court and depending on the amount of visitation he is granted your child support could go up or down, for example....If you guys have 50/50 custody and he see the baby 50% of the time the amount you get will probably only be half of what you were granted my ex had to pay $500 a monthchild support before visitation hearing, and after custody/visitation hearing he only paid $200-300 because they got 50/50 custody
