Homebound

Im going to my doctor today, i have to have him wrote a note for me to be exempted from a chorus concert for school. but i have a question.... Do I just ask him when I need to be put on homebound or how do i go about asking him? I'm just a little confused.

I am alittle confused about your question. Your due in Jan. you can go to school up till about a week or so before your due date! IMO

Well first, why? If you are having a problem then he will write you a note but my doctor was so picky that he would let me out of anything.

my school says that I NEED to be homebound by nine months..... I don't really know why, that's just what they say.

I can't do the concert because i have to stand up singing in high heel for 2-2 1/2 hours. I just cant do it.

I was due Jan 10th and didn't go homebound until the 7th.  

You need a paper from your school that your doctor has to fill out. then you need to send it to the school board.

I went to school until the day I delivered my first son, I worked for 6 hrs after, I will be okay, just make your self do it

I'm pretty sure you can do it. Unless you have a high risk pregnancy, you'll be fine.

I don't think she was asking whether or not everyone felt she was up to the task. She asked about how to go about getting the paperwork to her doctor. Every pregnancy is different, therefore just because you could do something, doesn't mean that she can, or wants to   I worked as a waitress til 2 weeks before I delivered my son....doesn't mean everyone can.

No. She has to be on homebound BY 9 months. They don't want you to go any earlier then you have to, because then that's money.

How do you guys know that she's not high risk maybe?
Or howabout the fact she's a small girl who's 15 and this is her first pregnancy, this is all new to her and she's not sure how to go about everything... give her a break.

I was a small girl too. Doesn't mean i gave up on doing shit when I got pregnant.

Just have your doctor write on there that you cannot be on your feet for an extended amount of time.

Not to mention, heels + pregnancy = high possibility of falling because your center of gravity is off.

Knee locking and stage lights make non-pregnant people faint so it would be worse if you were preganant. Also, if you're wearing robes, you'll overheat a lot sooner.
