Disowning your child

Could anything they do make you disown/disregard your child(no matter their age)?
Can you honestly say that you will support everything they do?

I wouldn't necessarily "support" everything they do. But I would never disown them.

I couldn't disown my child I would express my disapproval of something but they would always have my love.

I can't say I would support it. But its their life and they have to learn from their own mistakes!!!..I would still love them regardless and be there for them...

I cry and think about this alot....

I would never do it. My parents never gave up on me although I was a rotten teenager.

I would never DISOWN my child for any reason...drugs, stealing, etc. But I'm not sure if i would associate with her when she was acting that way. Theres a difference in not supporting your child, and disowning them.

Nothing my child could do would make me disown him. I may not agree, but I will always be there for him.

i would NEVER disown my child. i wouldn't support everything they do, but i wouldn't disown them. they may do something that really pisses me off(like stealing from me, or doing major drugs)but i honestly don't think i could disown them.

i would never disown my kids, but i couldnt say i could support everything they do.

um yeah if they grew up to be serial killers and rapists but id hope that i would raise them well enough that they wouldnt turn out that way

Someone once asked me if one of your children killed another one of your children what would you do,.....  I had no answer. I wouldn't disown the one who killed the other but,...what kind of damn question is that anyway?


ETA: It wasn't just a random question we were watching 60 minutes or something like that about a kid who shot his 3 year old brother.
