stripping of the membranes?

i was wondering, how far dilated do you have to be before they strip your membranes?

when you are overdue..its not about dialation

I was at 39 weeks and only a good 1 cm. My water broke like 36 hours later, about an hour after having sex. Maybe a coincedence but maybe not.

ok cause i was wondering cause my due date buddy is getting hers stripped next week and she is only like 2cm .

i think i was dilated to 2 cms. but it was my due date when i got it done. idk how far dilated you have to be tho. but i was 90% effaced also
