being induced on saturday help!

I am a very anxious person and is being induced on saturday morning and pregnant with my first baby girl!... is there any advice people can give me and can they give you something to calm the nervous for very anxious people? thanks to all that reply! 

Dont do it if there is no medical need to do it.

Bring your laptop, that's what I did!

if there is no medical reason for it dont do it!
if there is then the best thing you can do is relax.. i know thats easier said than done but if your tense and stressed out it will make your labour harder.

Definitely bring a lap top. Don't let everyone scare you with horror stories of inductions. I was induced TWICE and both of them went smooth. Long, but smooth. An induction can take anywhere from a few hours - 24 hours. Eat before you go in. Make sure you are rested (and your support team is rested) and showered. Wait as long as possible to get the epidural, cause once you get it your stuck in your bed.

really? I was induced and it took 36-38 hours. and it was hell, lol.

haha i even beat that .. i was in labour for 72 hours !! and hell is one way to discribe it lol

its not the same for everyone. both of mine werer relatively short. Less then 10 hours from the time they broke my water
