not a lot of money...what do we need???

My SO and i have hit a really rough patch. we sorta got going but now that theres no money i dont know how the hell were going to get all the stuff that we need...so what are the basic things for the baby including for mommy that i need?????

cloth diapers ( a bit expensive at first) will help make it to where you dont have to worry about buying disposables. Breastfeeding is free. Get a few sleepers and onesies. Besides that, if you have a place for baby to sleep, you'll be good to go for a little while.

Diapers and wipes are #1.
BF, you will save a ton!
clothes
bathing supplies
car seat
somewhere to sleep
that is pretty much it, everything else just makes life a little easier

Diapers, wipes, and clothes to keep the lo warm.
If you cant afford a crib makeshift one. In the hospital all they use are little tub type things basically with a changing pad type thing in it. Or co-sleep.
Bottles if you are FF.
Bath wash. Shampoo. Co-bathe if you cant afford a tub.

Breastfeed to save money on formula. Clothes for the baby, you can get those pretty cheap at second hand stores.

Carseat, diapers, sleeper and onesies. Everything else is an extra and not really a "need"

Oh and if you are getting him circumcised you will need gauze and vaseline, but try to take as much as you can from the hospital.

Diapers, Onesies, Sleepers, Pads, Wipes, socks Carseat(some hospitals or public healths provide one, and if you wont be able to buy another in the next few months, get a convertiable.)...
Just the basics if thats all you can do. Is anyone throwing you a baby shower? Try to shop in second hand stores, they usually have nice stuff for cheap, you have to do what you have to do.

Oh and at least a play pen, but my daughters other grandmother bought an Eddie Bauer at a garage sale for $10. You just have to shop around.

ETA bottles formula(BFing is cheaper though) theres always WIC to help if you need. Soap.

Carseat
something for baby to sleep in (crib or pack n' play)
diapers + wipes
a few bottles just in case... you never know if baby will take to the breast and you can always pump and let dad feed
clothes that are season appropriate (nb and 0-3mo for now)

breast pads too but your hospittal might supply those mine didnt

yes my SO is infamous for that! tisk tisk.....we have a lil clothes, bathtub, 3 bottles 2 pacifiers, um some toys. no stroller...or crib....and few other things and i really wanted to use pampers....see hes trying to get into the Army but needs a job asap..idk what to do right now...

There should be places in your area that will help you too. Do you have a birthright anywhere locally? They will give you a 50$ voucher to buy a carseat with and when the baby is born they will give you a layette. Its like a laundry basket full of clothes, soap, diapers, lotions, and other basic needs for a baby.Aside from that, you should talk to your family and see about a babyshower.

and no one wants to throw me a shower....they arent real happy...cuz were too young...even thoug im almost 21.....

We use parents choice diapers and they work just as well as pampers. Weve used every type of diaper and pc work just as well and its like 6 bucks for a package of them

Not all little boys need the guaze and vaseline so she might not need it.
