I've gained weight since I had her!

posted 5th Nov
So when i had coralynn i was 189lbs. 2 weeks later i was down to about 160 lbs. I was doing awesome! When i moved in with my husband after he got back from iraq i have slowly gained weight. I think he maybe combination with BC and i stopped breastfeeding. This is the heaviest i have ever been. Im short so its worse. I dont mind being 160 i love my curves and alot of it is muscle mass. But still i cant believe the difference!

I dont know what to do! I think i might try walking for 2 hours a day. Coralynn likes it when we walk! Its hard with my husband leaving all the time for training. I guess ill go get a workout video and try that!

Any suggestions?

this was in february! 160lbs

and now 180lbs

It makes me sad to know i weighed less 2weeks after i had my little girl than i do now 15months PP.

I think im going to do some massive working out! I need to get this weight off!!

Trust me calorie counting works!!! Eat foods high in fiber anf low incalories. They will fill you up. I eat all the time 6 small meals a day and lose weight. Stay away from the sweets as much as you can. If you indulge one day make up for it the next. It can be done and gets easy once you get into the routine!
I lost 20lbs by calorie counting....now for the exercise that's different for me That I need motovation to do myself! I lack that hardcore. lol

Well see i dont eat sweets. That would be my husband. I've never really at them. Like ill have a bite of ice cream here and there. but nothing major i drink a ton of water. I mainly eat chicken. I've cut back alot of what i've been eating and trying to eat more throughout the day.

I honestly dont think i could count calories. I like food. I want something where i can still eat what i want but not over indulge. I think my problem is im not eating enough during the day. I hardly eat and its because i forgot to eat. Im never hungry!

Have you thought about weight watchers. I never joined but I googled how many points I could have a day and then I just bought WW products from the store to help me.

Try portion control. Calorie counting can be a chore. I didnt even follow any specific diet but just started eating smaller meals but more frequently so I wouldnt be starving.
I had put on weight too and started working on it about 9mths PP (or maybe before..cant remember)
AND if you're in to natural stuff, try drinking a tsp of Apple cider vinegar (not the clear kind, but with "mother" in it) once a day and it helps cleanse the body and speed up your metabolism   ..among other benefits!

Was supposed to say drink it in a glass of water lol..you can google it
The smaller plate is better, especially with the holidays coming up!
I try not to "diet" per se, i eat healthy but still enjoy the chocolate, etc lol, just on a smaller scale. The weight starts dropping!
And after that you can start exercise to boost it more

Well no wonder. Eating once a day is making your body store the meal as fat because it doesnt know when it's gonna get food again lol. Seriously, thats bad.
And yes you CAN make time. I have a LO who is really active too and my daily schedule is hectic, but you hafta make it work if you want results.
It takes dedication but it can be done  ..think positive

I gained weight back as well. I was down to 147 and i'm back up to 155. I really need to put my gym membership to use, i'm lacking motivation to get off my ass and go. Even though I know I'll enjoy my time there and it will make me feel better over all

But I mainly wanted to comment on how I always love the poses you do in the mirror. You make me giggle, heh
