Ugh, potty training.... help?

I am so over toilet training! She turns 3 next month and still isn't toilet trained. I've tried a potty... didn't work, so now she has one of those kid seats for the toilet. She wears pull-ups, but just treats them the same as a nappy. I've tried the rewards chart using stickers and candy. I've tried sitting her on there every hour. Ive tried asking her every five minutes if she needs to go. Nothing has worked. I've tried putting her in "big girl pants" but even if she has an accident in them, she doesn't care. The pee running down her leg doesn't bother her, and she doesn't mind sitting in her poo. I tried getting her expensive pants with Dora on them, thinking she wouldn't want to dirty Dora... but even that didnt work. I've tried explaining to her that her sister wears a nappy coz she is a baby, but mummy and nanny wear big girl pants and use the toilet coz they are big girls. I leave the door open when i go, so she can see that i use it. But NOTHING has worked. I know people say it will happen when they are ready... But there has to be something i could do to speed it along? She is nearly 3 already.

I have tried everything too with my son..He will be 3 in March..He just wants to play with his potty..So Im just going to wait until he is ready..

My daughter will be three next month and I just got her potty trained a couple months ago. I did everything you've done and nothing worked either. Finally I just started putting panties on her and it took about a week of a lot of accidents, but I guess she got tired of wetting her undies! I literally refused to put a diaper on unless it was bed time. She hasn't even had one accident since the first time she actually went on the toilet. She wouldn't use the little potty or the little seat for the big potty.

My daughter was the same she didn't toilet train properly till just after her 3rd b'day and i had been trying for ages then one day she just "got" it and started to go by herself.

Let me know what works will you? My son is a little over 3 and i have tried all of those things too!!! NOTHING works.....and he knows what to do....he just refuses to sit on the potty at all and doesnt care what you try and do about it. sorry im not any help, but good luck!

I know how you feel. My daughter turns 3 in 5 months and the way things are going she just might show up at her birthday in a diaper   My daughter gets too busy playing and like yours won't care if she sits in stuff. I tried the whole diaperless thing for a week but all she did was run around the house peeing and pooping everywhere. Not once did she go on the potty even with me constantly asking her if she had to go and putting her on there every hour. I tried backing off for 3 more days and not nagging at her and just seeing if she would pick it up on her own, but nothing. I tried rewards of all kinds too  

These all make me feel good. Hayat will be 2 1/2 in Jan and has no interest at all in sitting on the potty. Seems like most of the kids are around 3 when the are potty trained.
