monster in law not mother in law

my MIL( well soon to be ) knows very well that we dont want her alone with christian ( since shetryed giveing him soilds at a months and a half), she had the neve to call me and ask if christian can stay the night, witch even if it wasnt for the soilds thing he still wouldnt be albe to stay over there, they smoke in the house, we say one thing she does another, plus he is a mommas boy like no other, he cant go 3 hours without me let alone a whole night, so why would i put my christian threw that,so i told her that it wouldntbe a god idle because of everything plus i dont have the breast milk in the frezer to last a full night, she told me that she just FF him. i told her that wasnt going to happen, he hasn had it the whole 6 months of his life i wasnt going to start now, so she start fliping out because i never let her do anything with him, and that i am bad mother , she is going to take christian from us. i just said that she doesnt hve the grounds to do so, i wasnt going to sit here and fighting with her, she calls my SO and for once in his life he told her no, i was so proud of him.
i just wish we could move far away so i dont have to deal with her drama anymore!!!

Wow she's crazy and egregiously intrusive. I would NOT let him stay with her.

Hello! Breastfeeding exclusively for 6 months is not something to just throw out the window so a grandma can have YOUR baby overnight and give him formula.

They think things have to be done the way they did them...

Ugh going through the same problem!! I can't stand my MIL, we are moving across the country in 1 week to get away from her and the rest of SO's family!! We had a big blow out about 2 weeks ago and I called my parents and are moving back home so I totally feel your pain! Good luck and try to just keep your distance!

Sounds like my MIL It really sucks....Stick to what you said though don't give in.
