Michigan medicaid question

So I applied online for medicaid since my husbands employer changes their insurance yearly and its going to be higher with a new company but prob cheaper for his employer. Anyways I applied online for medicaid and it came back saying im not eligible for medicaid for prenatal care if someone could let me know how much they or the SO makes and still has medicaid could you let me know. I thought we would qualify  

Michigan is suppose to give you medicade no matter how much you make if your pregnant you might need to go in and fill out the papers.

Does it matter that I have insurance right now? I will prob drop the current insurance before we get the new one..

i dont live in mich. but i know in tx it would be because u have insurance..

yeah you cant have any other insurance.

Ok im just trying to see if i would qualify it before I drop insurances because we cannot re apply for his works insurance if we drop it we would have to wait until next november So I dont wanna screw us out of insurance.

I believe medicaid retro pays, so afte4r you are dropped from your current insurance you could get it.

I"ll prob end up keeping the insurance they will offer us since that way my husband will be covered too for Dr visits etc. Much easier I guess.

you can go to your local FIA building and tell them and then theyll tell you if you get approved.
