My husband smokes too, and I did as well but not since I found out that I am pregnant. We have an understanding about it though. Brutal honesty. If he ever thought I was "abusing" it he would tell me and vice versa. We have a baby on the way now so that's our priority. If he was the way your husband is, I would be gone until he cleaned up his act.

i used to have a major drug issue and i was lucky enough to get clean and sober before i had kids....the thought of my babies being around me when i was like that is awful.
you are not the one who should be ashamed he is!!
what if in 20 years your son turns out just the same and thinks its ok b/c thats what his daddy was like?

Your husband is a pathetic loser no matter what. If you leave for a couple days nothing will change, he will still be that same pathetic loser. You have to leave him to have any change in you and your son's life.

sometimes accepting the people we love for who they really are is the hardest part, and if he is going to be that kind of man for your baby to grow up around can you imagine how he'll grow up to be?..my mom feels so guilty because I trust no one because of the fucked up things my dad has done to my family...my older brother(who isn't my dads) refuses to ever have children because both his father and mine abandoned him an chose drugs over his family and he is so scared hes going to be the same kind of father..

It wouldnt bother me so much if we could afford it. Evenif he cut back or said this weekI dont have the money for it so I'll wait until next week. Thats the biggest issue. He spends until theres nothing left and doesnt think about Adult responsiblites. It affects his attitude so much though when hes not high I cant stand to bearoundhim. When he does smoke it doesnt bother me he doesnt act all stupid i really cant even tell the difference aside from when he hasnt smoked he has a bug up his ass

wow...my b/f is a dick..belive me..but if he EVER spent money on pot rather than getting my daughter food/diapers..i would have enough of him.my b/f has a done a lot of stupid shit..but def not that...i woulsnt even let him smoke around my kids..!its not healthy to see their father smoke..b.c they can start to do it if they see people aroud them doing it...not good.sorry.leave him.i know its hard but drugs?!come on1

yeah, but how long has he done it?..and if he's spending money that could go to your child on something like that he seriously has a problem with it...I would give him and ultimatum..you and your baby or the drugs...because in the long run when you're going in circles with him because he refuses to grow up and your just stuck in a rut your going to wish you would have done something in the beginning.
