what if they're wrong??

I keep having this feeling that I don't have a little boy in there.I keep thinking he's really a she....If I asked my doctor to do another ultrasound just to make sure do you think she'd give me one or is it not a common thing to just hand out?....idk lately I've been thinking it's really a girl in there and I don't know why...has anyone else felt this way?..were your suspicions just that, suspicions and you were wrong or did you have a gut feeling and it turned out the ultrasound was wrong....please no drama...thank you ladies...

I swore Jonas was a girl even after I saw his testes on a sonogram....and he is a boy.

does your doc have an u/s machine in office? if they do they'll probably do it for you.

do you have a pic of the goods?

You could definitely ask, but the vast majority of doctors won't give you an ultrasound to check the gender. Maybe pay for one privately?

They probably won't give you one, but you can always ask.

I was otld by my midwife when I was having adam that about 4% of ultrasounds are wrong, even after seeing Adam's bits i walked out of the room still thinking of girls names and clothes..xx

see the day we went in for the anatomy scan I sat in the living room, looked at my mom and went "they're gonna tell me its a boy"..even though the entire time before that day I was just convinced I was having a little girl.....but I think part of me still really wants a girl..and I guess that part is holding on to hope

at my 20 week ultrasound the tech kept saying "i'm pretty sure it's a girl.." like she didn't know for sure.. so then i was like what if i have a boy..and freaking out lol.. but i just had another ultrasound today because i had an emergency, and she confirmed it is a girl. =]

oh that is sooo a boy. my doctor said that its rare they mistake a boy becuase you really see the parts. most mistakes are girls becuase it can look like a boy if the parts are tucked under. you could ask for another ultrasound. but they may make you pay for it. most doctors dont just do the gender ultrasound just to see the gender..thats just the big ultrasound to see the anatomy of the baby. and it just so happens thats when most the time you can see the sex of the baby. it wouldnt hurt you to ask. if your unsure i would. but thats deff a boy. a girl will have 3 straight lines in a row.

and another thing is I had the scan at 17 weeks and 3 days and his legs were crossed like he was very modest!

you know.. i was sure Abagail was gonna be a boy lol. The day before i had my anatomy scan i had a dream that some woman said " thats deff. a girl" when i went to get my scan it wasnt my doctor it was a woman. she did the scan and was like im not seeing anything i think its a girl. i kept holding on and holding on. at the end of the scan she sat her good directly on the ultrasound and bam.. oh thats a girl. even then i kept holding on. I have seen her 1,2,3,4,5 times now and all 5 said its a girl i have FINALLY let go of hopes that shes a boy lol and now im pink crazy
