re: what if they're wrong??

if you ask they should do a ultrasound but they just wont give you a picture.
you dont loose anything by asking.

the whole time i was getting my ultrasoud i kept thinking it was a girl. girls run on both me & my hubbys side. i was so shocked when she told me it wasa little boy! i'm 99.9% sure that it isa boy though i got a really good picture.

see the only problem I have is that his legs were closed like they were crossed when they got the shot and they were also saying his umbilical cord was in the way...so thats theonly thing I have a problem with...

I found out that's she's a girl when I was 24 weeks and I also have a nagging feeling that she's a 'he'.. especially since it took her 45 minutes to open her legs and the tech didn't sound too sure. I'm sure it's just all in my head, but my next appointment I'm definitely going to ask for another ultrasound to "double check".

me too..I'm going in this thursday so I'm going to nag my OB to give me one just to make sure!!..lol

Haha. I hope they will to ease your mind! It makes buying things a lot easier. I've been leaning towards neutral colors, just in case.

I was told girl at 20 weeks with Eva. Then they did a few more ultrasounds afterwards and I got 'I can't tell' so I had thought and hoped for a boy but it was a girl.

Its normal and it might just be a manifestation of your true gender desire.

Not at all. Its quite natural to want one gender over another.

I've wanted a boy all three times and ended up with girls. I felt disappointment each time they told me it was a girl. It doesn't mean anything in the long run since almost all mother's love their child regardless of gender.

When my mom was pregnant with my sister her legs were crossed in the ultrasound too she had to wait until she was born to find out the sex. I'd ask them for a second confirmation ultrasound if they'll do it. If not then a 3D ultrasound place those are usually more accurate anyway.

I knew since my first sono at 9.5 weeks that avery was a girl
and yep sure enough 27 week sono came and there she was
