Not sure this is the right area to post this but I am working on a Crossword puzzle for college tonight and it's due for a grade. I'm having issues coming up with an answer for this one:
"Atoms are held together by this"
So far I've got that it's a 18 letter word.
It begins with an 'E'.
Can someone please help me?

all i can think of is electromagnetic force but that isn't 18 letters

I was thinking something like electron particles - don't think that's 18 though, I counted 17. lol

How about "This is how radiation is measured"
The second letter is an "A" and it's 11 letters long.

make it with no gaps and it is 11 letters
