I might have just met the RUDEST person..

Okay, so I went grocery shopping, all I needed was oil to make fried fish today but still. There was this man in the front of the store that was standing at a booth for a free shopping spree through the store. All you had to do was fill out an entry card and then listen to his little speel about the newpaper.

Well as I was filling out the card I accidently wrong the wrong name.(Just got married on Halloween.) I chuckled to myself and said," Whoops wrong name!" He goes oh you must have just gotten married. I replied YEP! He then goes on to tell me," Why did you do such a retarded thing?" I said because I wanted to, we love eachother and we are happy." He then goes on for literally 20 minutes about how I was stupid for getting married, I'm going to live an extremely unhappy life and otherwise basically be miserible because thats all marriage is... I just looked at him and told him that I didn't care about his opinion and to just talk to me about the paper.

He never talked to me about the paper just how he lives with womena and when he gets "bored" he boots em to the curb. I then started to walk away and he yells," I'm sorry to hear that you ruined your life and the life of your children by getting married, I will keep you in my thoughts."

This guy was like 55-60 years old. I understand that people have different opinions on marriage but WTF seriously? That was just uncalled for and rude....lol

If he was a employee I would've complained.

I have to go back out later to the same store so I will.

I work at a gas station, and I hear it everyday that I am at work.  

I would call the paper and complain. That was just rude. They should know that one of their employees is showing his ass while he is representing them.

Honestly, I wouldn't let his comments or opinions affect me that much. If I was in that situation I would have just laughed at his face & say "have a good day" his old what do you expect

Wow, I am definitely pretty anti marriage but for the most part I keep it to myself. I would never do that.

did you go to price chopper? if so i know what guy you are talking about...i walked in the other day and he motioned for me to come over i waved a no thanks and hes like OH COME ON dont be rude...wtf what if i dont wana hear the speel about the paper?
