potty training

my daughter is about 15 months old will be on the 13th. she takes her diaper off right after she goes pee or poop in it how do you get them to learn to go on the potty b4 they do it in their pants? she sits on the potty after she takes her diaper off after she goes today she pooped in the diaper took it off and sat on the potty and started clapping

We started with my daughter about that age. She was taking her diaper off too. She caught on super fast and does great now (she's 18 months). I don't even have to ask her anymore if she has to go, she just goes and sits and wipes on her own.

yea it was till i saw turds on the floor and she had one stuck to her but n she sat on the floor   at least i mop 3 times a day not like it looks like it these floors always look dirty stupid base housing lol

Try keeping her diaper off let her be bare butt. Every half hour to hour ask her if she needs to go and sit her on the potty till she finally goes. She'll start to understand that pee and poop go in the potty not the diaper. Avi is good about peeing and pooping in the potty in the mornings all by herself without me reminding her. Then she seems to get lazy and not try to go in the potty in the afternoon and will go in her diaper. So I have to remind her only in the afternoons now. We also do a potty chart that she gets to put stickers on only when she goes on the potty which gives her the motivations to go on the potty. I also sing and dance when she goes on the potty which gets her excited. Hope that helps

that does help i left her diaper off all day and try n get her to go on the potty she stands in front and pees on the floor and smiles   but ill keep trying

don't worry Avi did that ... atleast you don't have a cat she can pee on ... lol I still can't believe Avi did that

LOL... thats cute!!! my moms coming in on the 13th but i can still watch Avi... i dont know what time yet but supose to be mid morning so u know

that sounds good ill pm you savanna is just gettin up around that time to n ur welcome shes trying to come in the morning i have to wait and get the ok from my dr so she can get her plane ticket and get here hopefully by 1130
