Friends...

I wish I woulda known that having babies and getting pregnant again meant that my BFF would just be "too busy" to talk to me. ::sigh:: My feelings are just hurt right now. Just cause I can't drink and party all the damn time does not mean that I still can't hang out.  
having a family is not a death sentence. It does not mean my life is over. It just means I have more responsibility. Which I love. I love my family and my son and I love being pregnant. I wouldn't change it for anything. Maybe one day when she decides to settle down she will know what it feels like.
I guess til then.. I am one friend down....

Man, same thing is happening here. They don't even invite me anymore, cause they think I wouldn't want to go. I mean, no I don't WANT to go to the bar, but I WANT to hang out with my friends, and there is no smoking in bars here, so its not like it would be super un healthy for me to go watch a damn show or something. But if she needs something, she calls. Ugh. BFF's suck when your pregnant.

Even though Ive always made a good effort to keep in touch, I lost friends:

When I moved, got engaged, got married, and had a baby.

Some of them that are now in the same situation have come back into my life a little more often but until they are in the same boat.. some may never return. It sucks but its their loss!!  

I know it does suck. and it's shitty. The last time I saw her and talked to her... She wanted something. I just wrote her an email since she doesn't answer my calls. Shes' Soo busy.... She doesn't know when the next time she is free.. but I am sure she knows when she's gna get another tattoo or what she is gna do when she has free time..
I have my husband... woo.... it's not the same as girl time.
Whatever...

i lost practically all my friends when i found out i was pregnant...well they stuck around til v wasnt a newborn anymore then never heard from the again

anyways the few i have left i love to death and i have made new ones! you will be ok but i am so sorry you're upset

LOL yah I know. She works and has her internship.. but still... she txts all the time... and I don't get a phone call? We have been friends since we were 13.
It's just shitty. Whatever.. I'm glad she is doing her thing being all single and having fun...
But still.. that doesn't mean I should be cut outta her life... Oh well..
I guess when she needs me again.. I'll hear from her.

Thank you. And I'll get over it. She was just there the whole time with my son. She was the first to be there when I had my son and the last to leave. She came and stayed the night with me and we laughed until like 3 in the morning when I was being induced the next day at 6. She was there the whole time.
She was the last to leave WAAAAAY after visiting hours were over. That was my BFF and I love her so much for what she's done. I jsut wish that she wanted to be part of my life like she used to.

i understand...if my best friend did that to me i would be heartbroken...but she had all 3 of her kids way before i even was pregnant lol...so obviously i didnt just abandon her..we have been friends for 15 years.
